Terms & Conditions

Effective September 16, 2026

Please read these terms carefully. They explain the rules for using GameDraft and contain important warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using GameDraft, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you use GameDraft for a group, you are responsible for ensuring that your invitations and use comply with applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Beta service

GameDraft is currently offered as a beta. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors or become unavailable. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Do not rely on GameDraft as the only record of schedules, ticket ownership, prices, payments or agreements.

3. What GameDraft does

GameDraft helps private groups organize season-ticket drafts, game assignments, proposed trades and shared records. GameDraft is not a ticket seller, broker, payment processor, escrow service, financial adviser or party to any agreement between group members. A draft result or trade recorded in GameDraft does not itself transfer a ticket, collect money or guarantee entry to an event.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, safeguarding host credentials and private invitation links, confirming schedules and ticket details with the official team or venue, and resolving payments, transfers, taxes, disputes and attendance arrangements within your group. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, access another group without permission or submit unlawful or harmful content.

5. Group decisions and disputes

Draft positions, picks, prices, trades and ledger entries are based on information and actions supplied by users. GameDraft does not supervise, verify or enforce agreements between participants and is not responsible for missed games, schedule changes, ticket-transfer failures, payment disputes, incorrect prices, accidental selections or disagreements within a group.

6. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameDraft is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or collateral. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate or suitable for any particular purpose, or that stored information will never be lost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameDraft and its owners, operators, contributors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage; loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, tickets or opportunities; personal injury or property loss arising from an event or group activity; or any claim arising from another user, a team, league, venue, ticket platform or other third party. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising from the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid GameDraft in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100 (or the equivalent in local currency). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GameDraft and its owners, operators and contributors from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service, your content, your breach of these terms or your violation of another person’s rights.

9. Third parties and sports organizations

GameDraft may display names, schedules, marks or links relating to third parties. GameDraft is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any professional league, team, venue or ticketing provider unless expressly stated. Third-party services and information are governed by their own terms and may change independently of GameDraft.

10. Accounts, access and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or others, or where these terms are violated. You may stop using GameDraft at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including responsibility, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity—will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, subject to any additional notice or consent required by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to rights, remedies and jurisdiction rules that cannot be waived under the law where you live, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

13. United States users

If you access GameDraft from the United States, these terms apply subject to applicable U.S. federal law and the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your state. State law may give you additional rights and may not permit certain exclusions of implied warranties, limitations of incidental or consequential damages, liability caps, indemnities, choice-of-law terms or forum-selection terms. In that case, the affected provision applies only to the maximum extent permitted in your state, and the remainder of these terms remains in effect. Nothing in these terms waives any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable U.S. federal or state law.
